Does it work with Booking.com and Airbnb directly, or only through Hostaway?

Guest messages from Booking.com and Airbnb flow through Hostaway's webhook — so if you're on Hostaway, both channels are covered automatically. The voice hotline works independently for any guest who has your phone number, regardless of booking channel.

What happens if a guest has a real emergency — fire, flood, injury?

The AI is configured to recognize emergency signals and escalate immediately to your team via Slack, keeping the call live. For extreme cases, you can configure it to play an emergency services message and alert your team simultaneously. Human coverage is always the last line.
