Properties Module

The Properties module is the registry of every unit your team manages — addresses, photos, access info, and the tasks that keep them in shape. STR-vertical tenants get a layered set of booking features on top of that core.

Advanced module — the Properties module is part of the operations vertical, available on request. Ask support to enable it for your workspace.

Overview

Every Enhanced Rentals tenant with the Properties feature enabled gets a unit registry: address, basic facts (size, beds, capacity), door codes, check-in instructions, and the photos shared with cleaning staff and inspectors.

Two product tiers determine which tabs and actions you see:

  • Property Management — registry, tasks, photos, access info. No bookings, no PMS, no channel URLs.
  • STR — everything in Property Management, plus bookings, reservation calendar, channel URLs, PMS sync, performance metrics, reviews, and payouts.
STR builds on top of Property Management. If you're on STR, you have every Property Management feature plus the booking-specific ones.

Property Management vs STR

The difference comes down to whether your business handles guest bookings inside Enhanced Rentals.

Property registry

The Properties list is the entry point. Each row is a unit you manage. Click into a property to see its detail tabs.

On Property Management, the list shows essentials — name, city, status. On STR, it adds occupancy stats, last booking, and links to the PMS listing.

You can add properties manually on both tiers. On STR, you can also bulk-import from your connected PMS — see the Import Properties from PMS button on the Properties list.

Tasks & photos (both tiers)

Every property carries a task history and a photo set. These are the same feature regardless of tier.

  • Tasks & Issues tab — every coordination task that touched the unit, with status, assignee, and outcome. See Coordination Tasks for the task lifecycle.
  • Photos tab — the canonical photo set used by cleaning staff, inspectors, and (on STR) listing channels.
  • Access tab — door codes, check-in instructions, post-check-in info, and parking notes. Cleaning and check-in staff see these on their mobile devices when handling a task at that property.

STR-only surfaces

On the STR vertical, the property detail page gains a set of booking-focused tabs:

  • Performance — occupancy chart, ADR, revenue trends per unit.
  • Reviews — guest reviews pulled from connected channels.
  • Calendar — month-grid of reservations and blocks.
  • Internet — Wi-Fi credentials shown to guests in their check-in flow.
  • PMS — Hostaway integration; link a unit to its PMS listing and trigger sync.
The Channel URLs (Airbnb, Booking.com, Marriott, Google, VRBO) live on the Settings tab and only appear on STR.

Tabs you'll see

The exact tab set you see depends on your role and tier:

  • Both tiers: Overview, Tasks & Issues, Photos, Access, Settings.
  • STR only: Performance, Reviews, Calendar, Internet, PMS.
  • Property Management without an active PMS integration: no "PMS not connected" warnings, no Import-from-PMS button, no channel URL fields.
If you upgrade from Property Management to STR, the new tabs appear automatically. No re-onboarding needed — your unit registry stays put.
